This over 200-page B5+ publication has a dual-sided structure comprising a Polish section and a German
section, each with their own cover and symmetrical starting point. The two sections meet at the centre of the
book, where English translations, a biography, a self-portrait and translations of curatorial texts are located.
This structure highlights the transnational nature of my work and its constant movement between different
cultural and linguistic contexts.
The catalogue includes 178 photographs documenting projects, installations and works presented across Europe over the past decade. It is accompanied by two curatorial essays, one by Michalina Sablik and one by
Sophia Scherer, which offer distinct cultural perspectives on my practice. The graphic design was developed
collaboratively by Karolina Pierzyk (Poland) and Tobias Wenig (Germany) – a deliberate gesture merging two
aesthetics and sets of experiences.
An integral element of the publication is a bookmark Edition (50 pieces) designed by me, made of 0.5 mm aluminium sheet – an object that moves between function and meaning, referring to my interest in semiotics, pictograms, symbols, and the relationships between organic, industrial, digital, and material elements.
The book is not only a documentation but also a visual reflection on the creative process, materiality, visual
language, and the political potential of art. It forms a space for contemplating migration, shifting borders, belonging, and memory within the contemporary European context. It functions as an open form – a place of exchange and interpretation positioned between East and West, art and theory, individual and collective experience. I see it both as a conclusion of my work to date and as a point of departure for new projects. As part of the project, a series of book-launch events is planned in Poland and Germany, including presentations, artist talks, and public meetings. These events will take place in selected institutions and art spaces in cities such as Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław, Berlin, and Leipzig, enabling the book to operate in dialogue with diverse artistic and research communities.
